The ellipsis is the request as it arrives: finite, punctuated, closed. The line is what we do with it. On this page it is also how you move — the dots on the left are the navigation, and the line draws itself as you scroll.
01 — It arrives
A submission lands as three things and a mess.
Email, attachments, a schedule of values someone built in a spreadsheet in 2019. Scroll and watch it come in — the pace is yours, which is the point. Nothing here plays on its own.
02 — The open market
Every carrier who could write it, at once.
Not a shortlist someone remembered. Scroll forward and the market fans out; scroll back and it collapses to the one you'd have called anyway.
03 — The program
Layers stack while you're reading this.
Primary, first excess, second. The tower builds in step with the scroll, so you can hold it half-built and look at it — which is the state it's actually in most of the time.
04 — Human in the loop
The part that used to get dropped.
A hand comes in over the machine's work and marks the one thing it got wrong. Drawn at the speed a person draws, with a fixed wobble — the same every time, so it never reads as a glitch.
